ATTENTION PARENTS, STAFF AND COMMUNITY!!!
HCS needs your help! This week is Safe Schools Week across Kentucky! Our friends at the Kentucky Center for School Safety are asking students, parents, staff and community members to pledge to keep our students safe.
HCS is currently ranked 6th in the state in the number of pledges received! You can help us move up the list and win the challenge!!!
Please click this link to take an approximately 20-second pledge to keep our students safe while at school: https://kycss.org/safe-schools-week/safety-week-pledge/

We encourage our students to attend school every day, but especially on Tuesday, September 9, 2025! Bragging rights are on the line in our district-wide competition!!! Great attendance that day helps HCS as we compete with other districts in Kentucky.

Central Hardin FBLA is excited to host a Princess and Superheroes Night at Bruin Academy on October 25th, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM. It's going to be a fun-filled evening where staff and volunteers will be dressed up to create magical memories for the kids!
I’ve attached a flyer for the event, along with an optional RSVP link to help us get a rough headcount—no RSVP is required to attend, but it does help us prepare.
Thank you so much for supporting this special event and helping us create unforgettable moments for our students!

For our bus riders, families will receive an email today telling them about their bus information and the time of pick-up. There will be no phone calls from the bus drivers.
If you do not get an email or you believe your information is incorrect in their email, call the bus garage. The number is 270-769-2400.
Finally, a reminder that we are hand-to-hand so someone will need to be with the child at the bus stop. Also ask them to have their identification ready for the bus driver.
